½ pound of green peas
⅓ pound of bacon
1 large onion
1 head of garlic

1 ½ quarts of chicken broth
2 cups of milk
½ cup of heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Put the peas in a pot to soak for at least an hour, though longer is recommended.
